S.P.G.L. is a pioneer Power Generation & Distribution Company, incorporated in Pakistan in 1993.
Since inception, the Company has been engaged in Power Generation and Distribution Business. Later the company decided to utilize its expertise in Operation and Maintenance of Thermal Power Plant and had signed Contract agreement of a number of IPP and State-owned Thermal Power Generating units in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.
Since 2005, the company has been delivering expert O&M services across major thermal power stations and has expanded its footprint internationally into Pakistan and Bangladesh through strategic partnerships and maintenance contracts.

Major Projects & Experience
The Company had signed contract for Operation and Maintenance of 124MW Furnace oil Fired Kohinoor Energy Ltd in Pakistan. The Company also signed operation and maintenance agreement with three power stations in India. The power stations are 30 MW Furnace Oil fired Power Station in Chandrapur, 320 MW Coal fired BTPS, and 41 MW Gas fired Power Station of Namrup. The Company provides operation and maintenance Contract of 282 MW Thermal Power Plant of Summit Power Ltd in Bangladesh.
The Company obtained Licenses Distribution of power in North West Lahore in Punjab Province in Pakistan.
